Geoffrey joe
In tools system devices I checked the two boxes that are associated with graphics and audio on my graphics card. Then I clicked the button on the bottom hoping it would break up the iommu group they are both in. Next I rebooted to save changes and got stuck on 'vf io-pci 0000:01:00.0: vgaarb: changed VGA decodes: old decodes=io+mem, decodes=ii+mem:owns=io+mem' I am assuming that it is getting stuck because breaking up two devices that are on the same physical device is not possible. I do not have a backup of my USB drive. Is it possible to edit something on the USB drive and reverse the changes that I made or is the change on a hard drive? I'm not sure what to do. Please help. Thank you in advance. Edited December 6, 2021 by Geoffrey joe found more problems Quote Link to comment

Geoffrey joe
Unfortunately after further inspection everything is not back to normal. Unraid boots and runs as normal In tools > system devices the iommu group with the graphics and audio is back to being unchecked. /config/vfio-pci.cfg on the flash drive is still gone there is a file called vfio-pci.cfg.bak im not sure if that was always there or not vm boots with vnc selected for graphics when connecting to vm with unraid vnc i can see it but mouse isn't working when conecting to vm with splashtop desktop i can see it and mouse works vm boots with graphics card selected selected for graphics there is no picture on monitor that is connected to graphics card when connecting to vm with splashtop desktop it is on and connected but no picture also when creating new vm with ovmf bios slected it boots to UEFI interactive shell so once again what is next? i do still have the original vfio-pci.cfg if that helps thank for any and all help i can get i don't really know what i'm doing Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
Since it's a different issue you should make a new post in the KVM section. Quote Link to comment
