Windows Map Network Drive

Featured Replies

Hi

I am trying to map a network drive z:\\

I type in \\unraidnas\

and I can see all my sub folder shares; e.g. movies, tv shows, documents..

But it doesn't allow me to use the root as a network drive, so I only have one z drive which displays all the shares.

e.g. "\\unraidnas\" instead of "\\unraidnas\movies\"

Is there an easy way to do this with the unraid settings?

Or do I have to setup folder shares/drives for each subfolder.

Thanks

Chris

Note though that if you move files between shares and the use cache settings / included / excluded the moved file may wind up not respecting the destination's settings (because you're bypassing the system)
