Appdata Issue

Featured Replies

My appdata directory is on both a user share and my cache disk.  It is writing to both locations.  I have my appdata share set to cache only but it still writes to both locations.  I renamed the appdata on the user share to appdata.bak and restarted my array.  When it came back up all my dockers were like they were just installed with a new blank appdata folder on the user share.  So I deleted the new appdata folder and removed the .bak from the old appdata folder and all is good.  But it looks like unraid is using the user share instead of the cache disk for appdata.  How can i fix this?

I am on version 6.9.2

been running unraid since 2016 and cache pool for probably 4 years now and this is the first time i really paid attention to it.

Nevermind, I guess this is the way it is supposed to be.  After doing more searching I found this: "/mnt/user is the contents of the user shares including cache"

Yes, user shares are the aggregate of all disks of the Array and all Pools.
