Errors on the server

Featured Replies

My Nextcloud stopped responding and I decided to reboot the server, I guess as it was still writing something, which triggered a parity check. Now, I am seeing errors in one of the parity disks. Can someone suggest a course of action, if one is needed?

Thank you,

Lev

Parity 2 has at least 1 UNC on it

Feb 19 11:43:33 Tower kernel: sd 11:0:7:0: [sdw] tag#2009 UNKNOWN(0x2003) Result: hostbyte=0x00 driverbyte=0x08 cmd_age=4s

I would start by running an extended smart test on it.

You think that the issue is with the drive itself? If that is the case, I'll swap it out after the parity check finishes. In the meantime, I will run the test on it.

Just finished the SMART test on parity 2 disk. Report attached. So, do you think that I need to swap it out?

Squid, thanks! It's just odd that I keep getting errors on that particular drive already several times.

OK. Good idea. Will do.

Thanks!
