So you've got a brand new mobo/CPU/RAM (and of course new gigabit controller, IDE/SATA controllers, possibly new VGA etc.) for your beloved unRAID...

 

...what happens? You just swap components (provided the new are compatible) and off you go, you existing array keeps working?

    You may have to reassign your drives, so do a print screen of the management interface from the browser showing which drives are which.  THen assign them to the same positions in the management interface on the new server.  I've done it several times.
