Unable to connect to backup.unraid.net:22

I searched if anyone is facing this problem, I did not find anything.

I followed the Docs and SpaceInvaderOne video to install the plugin.

Even the flash backup does not work and show this message:

Needless to say that the remote access did not work as well, and I did everything according to the Docs, but this is another problem and I will post it later. At the moment, I want to solve at least the flash backup.

This means there is a firewall on your network preventing your Unraid system from making an outgoing SSH connection to backup.unraid.net on ports 22 or 443.

Have you tried the following from terminal on the Unraid server

ssh backup.unraid.net

if port 22 is open, you should get a permission denied if port 22 is open.

Have you checked your DNS rebinding options on your router?

I had similar issue, and resolved it following the instructions under the "?" at the top right, and following the instructions  in the last "blue" help box.

Im also unable to sync the flash backup. I get error: Failed to sync flash backup

When I enter 'ssh backup.unraid.net' I get the message:  [email protected]: Permission denied (publickey)

Not sure how to fix this, hope someone can point me in the right direction!

I'm getting the same issue.

If i ssh backup.unraid.net i get back a key error, so it's seemingly able to connect and nothing in the logs to help track down the cause.

I am also getting the same issue on a new array; Activated: Not up-to-date  Failed to sync flash backup.

All plugins are up to date.

I tried Deactivate as well as Reinitialize options however nothing worked. I not seeing any error or logs, neither in unraid nor in router/firewall which could explain the ' Failed to sync flash backup' error.

Though local flash drive backup did worked and currently array is still calculating Parity, can someone please suggest what could be the issue?

Once parity calculation is completed, I am planning to reboot to check if that helps with this error.
