JohanErwin
Hi. I am currently using two SAS backplane on my server. To connect those to my motherboard i use two SFF-8087 Reverse Breakout Cables, Mini SAS to SATA. Due to my motherboard only having 5 SATA ports i purchased a SATA expansion card. The 4 SATA ports i plug i to my motherboard works very well and my server can detect them. But the ones I plug into my expansion card does not work. The expansion card in question is named DEL-90498 and has the following specifications: • Connectors: 5 x SATA 6 Gb/s 7 pin plug internal: 1 x PCI Express x4, V3.0 • Chipset: JMicron JMB585 • 5 x LED indicator • Supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) • Supports S.M.A.R.T. • Supports TRIM • Supports DevSleep • Hot Swap • Bootable Quote Link to comment
