Unraid basic disk limit

Featured Replies

Question on disk limit for Unraid Basic. I know it's set to 6 but is that system limited or array limited?

Mean could I have 6 disk in my array and 1 set to Unassigned Devices plugin for a total of 7 disk in the system but only 6 to the array?

system limited

This.

It's the number of drives physically connected when you hit the start button.

You could always connect the drive after you start the array if you want to use it as an Unassigned Device, and make sure it's unplugged if you need to restart.
