May 28, 20224 yr Hi Guys, I've been using 6.10 without too many issues but today I updated to 6.10.2 and I have no network connection. Any ideas? Edited May 28, 20224 yr by HidYn removed diags
May 28, 20224 yr Solution Have you read the 6.10.2 release notes and the issues around the tg3 NIC driver? You may need to take the steps to unblacklist that driver to get your network working if you think your hardware is not one being affected by the tg3 issue.
May 28, 20224 yr Author Literally just read the release notes and had the 'doh' moment. Just working through now apologies
May 28, 20224 yr I had the same issue. I think that with the prompt to upgrade in the dashboard with no warnings about these issues is going to cause a lot of people to go through this. The Dashboard should absolutely provide a warning or show the changelog before you see the upgrade button

Back up and running I disabled Virtualization in the BIOS. I concur this would be a good solution.

Either way, still needs to happen rather than having to check a forum post. You should feel safe when upgrading on the stable path that something like this wouldn't happen
