BreakfastPurrito Posted May 31, 2022 Share Posted May 31, 2022 I've been trying to get a remote share to work using Unassigned Devices and it just won't work. I can succesfully add the share using the wizard, but then it remains offline and I can't mount it. I tried: - Ports 139 and 445 are open and SMB sharing is enabled on the target server. In Windows I can access the shares just fine. - Using a different user/pass - Trying another folder - Searching this forum - There is no info in the UD logs or the Unraid logs. Quote Link to comment
dlandon Posted May 31, 2022 Share Posted May 31, 2022 The remote server must respond to a ping or UD thinks the server is offline. You'll need to insure the remote server is set to respond to a ping. Quote Link to comment
