June 1, 201115 yr Hey guys, I plan on building a server with my Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L and a 775 2.7 CPUx2 (originally a hackintosh) and after searching forums for 'migrating'; 'new hardware' etc - I found a couple of topics: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=9882.0, http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=5317.0 which in turn brought up a couple of concerns: a) HPA is named "backup bios to hard-drive" in the bios settings and is disabled. Does this mean (by being disabled by default) that I won't have to worry about it messing with my partition at all? After I slap the hardware together (sand disks) - I plan on running the compatibility test via the WIKI @ http://www.lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Hardware_Compatibility#Is_my_motherboard_compatible_with_unRAID.3F b) If this test passes, I plan on putting my new mobo/cpu combo together, pop my current Flash drive in a USB port... Once I have all my disks & icy docks plugged into the new SATA ports, is the only thing I need to worry about is putting the right disks in the spots of the array (ie reconfiguring to match the new sata ports)? Thanks Much! Mark

Does this mean (by being disabled by default) that I won't have to worry about it messing with my partition at all? Yes. It must be off by default. Match the device to the correct disk slot on the devices page. The physical location and connection does not matter. Thanks Much! Mark No problem.
