jeff.lebowski
35-40 kbytes/s = From HDD on my workstation to cache disk or directly to array. 9-11 kbytes/s = From the sabnzbd download directory on the cache disk to array (even when the mover protocols are in use). I wonder if there's something weird about the cache disk I use. It's an old 250GB IDE model. It runs cool and error free, but has a few issues according to the SMART details: » reallocated_sector_ct=5 » reallocated_event_count=2 » current_pending_sector=1 » ata_error_count=593 When I invoke mover, disk performance hits as high as 60,000 kbytes/s. Is there something about disk performance that causes this type of behavior? The slow rate of transfer, I mean. Link to comment
