Docker Full, array won't stop

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get my server back up and running again.  I had an SSD for the cache and it started giving me errors and now my docker is full, and I can't seem to stop my array.  It's been stuck on "array stopping•retry unmounting disk share(s)..."  I'm not sure what to do.  I've attached my diagnostics.  Appreciate any help.

Something is using disk2, type "reboot" in the console, if it doesn't after a couple o minutes you'll need to force it.

I just tried this, and it reboots and goes into parity check.  I click the stop parity check, then click the stop array and it is doing the same thing.  I'm not sure how to proceed.  Looks like I might have to start over?

I'm also seeing my SSD drive under assigned devices.  If I go to settings/new config and under preserve current assignments, will that let me add the SSD to my set up as a cache drive? I've already deleted my docker image and that didn't help.  I'm ok losing my docker settings and starting from scratch, I Just don't want to lose my data.  Thanks in advance!

You need to figure out what's preventing disk2 from unmounting, disable docker and VM services first and see if it shuts down correctly.

20G is often more than enough but you have filled 45G. Making it larger won't fix filling it, it will only make it take longer to fill. The usual cause of filling docker.img is an application writing to a path that isn't mapped.

After you get rebooted, recreate docker.img at 20G and see if you can figure out what you did wrong there.

I was finally able to get the array to stop.  I wish I knew why.  I reassigned my ssd to my cache drive.  I'm going to start from scratch.  Appreciate the help
