2/8 drives suddenly not detecting?

Hello all,

I recently upgraded my motherboard, cpu, ram and on initial boot (1 of 4) of my 6tb white label drives wasn't showing up, but I figured no biggy I wanted to replace it with a larger drive anyways. I plug in 8 of my drives through an IT flashed HBA h310 card  https://www.ebay.com/itm/164671032513

So I shutdown preparing to add my new drive to the config to replace it but another of similar 6tb drive stopped showing up after reboot.

I have 4x6tb white labels that I've been using for almost a year. Suddenly two aren't working. So I start troubleshooting.

 1. swap cables

 2. swap psu cables

 3. tried the 3.3v tape pin solution for the two drives. https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Fix-the-33V-Pin-Issue-in-White-Label-Disks-/

 4. tape b6 on my HBA card. http://yannickdekoeijer.blogspot.com/2012/04/modding-dell-perc-6-sas-raidcontroller.html

No matter where I plug in these two specific drives they do not show.

As an additional t/s step I plugged one into the motherboard directly and boom it shows up. But its not recognized as the same drive. Detects same serial but it'll still require me to make a new config to make it work.

My concerns are how do I make sure I dont lose 12tb (2x6tb) worth of data?

What the heck is going on with my setup?

LSI is flashed to raid mode, you should flash it to IT mode, note that it will require a new config because all drives identification will change.

I followed these instructions and flashed according to the model of the card.

Everything came back!

Had to setup new config and we're back to normal!
