Apemanx
Good day On my Unraid Server I have the following under cache drive settings: btrfs filesystem df: Data, RAID0: total=8.00GiB, used=7.91GiB System, RAID1: total=32.00MiB, used=16.00KiB Metadata, RAID1: total=1.00GiB, used=20.16MiB GlobalReserve, single: total=14.73MiB, used=0.00B What does is all mean, System, Mertadata that is on Raid 1 and Data that is on RAID0? Does that mean that all new Data will be Raid0 and system-cache data Raid1? I have two cache drives 128GB plugged in running as stated above. Thanks Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It means you are using raid0 profile for data (default is raid1), better performance but no redundancy, metadata is still raid1 for redundancy, metadata (and system) take very little space compared with data, so good to still use raid1. Apemanx
Thank you. Ok I will set them all to RAID1 then. It was just weird to see three different profiles on one 2 disk array. Quote Link to comment
