Swatseal
Recently moved and have no issues with unraid before. It seems every few weeks unraid will crash and I will be unable to access via SMB or the WebUI. Assuming this is an issue with the network? Disks seem to be operating fine. I have attached diagnostics and syslog. Crashes have happened 9/8, 9/17, 9/19, and 9/29 around 1100. I have to go manually hard restart the server to regain access. I can't find a consistent variable that is causing the crash and would appreciate anyone who can help point me in the right direction for troubleshooting. Thank you in advance. nasa-diagnostics-20220929-1304.zip syslog.log Edited September 29, 2022 by Swatseal spelling Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted September 30, 2022 Solution Share Posted September 30, 2022 Sep 3 17:37:21 NASA kernel: macvlan_broadcast+0x116/0x144 [macvlan] Sep 3 17:37:21 NASA kernel: macvlan_process_broadcast+0xc7/0x110 [macvlan] Macvlan call traces are usually the result of having dockers with a custom IP address and will end up crashing the server, switching to ipvlan should fix it (Settings -> Docker Settings -> Docker custom network type -> ipvlan (advanced view must be enabled, top right)).
