Cannot access SMB shares, but can see them..

Hey all,

 

Out of the blue, I can no longer access my SMB shares. 

 

I've tried both in OSX and Win 10. 

 

I can see the shares, however, I cannot seem to get into them. I have tried public and private security. Deleted my user account account in Unraid, added a new one. Rebooted. Removed nerd pack. Played with local master settings. Restarted samba, server, router, OSX, Win10. Tried with guest account in OSX. New permissions in Unraid. Tried via IP and server name.

 

Everything has been working fine until just recently. 

 

Any ideas? I'm stuck..

Comment out the lines in the smb-extra.conf and see if that helps.

 

There have been some reports that the "veto files = /.*/.DS_Store/" is not working.

 

Show the result of the command "ls -la /mnt".

oh man commenting out worked... 

 

I looked at those lines and thought "nah that wont create any issues"...

ah dude I can now also back up to a Time Machine share that I have NEVER been able to get to work..
