Support for Nut?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I starting an Unraid NAS tomorrow. Since my first and only HDD at the moment is a 3TB I suppose I need to use the v.5 beta, right?

Now please read the following post in order to get to my second question:

So, does Unraid support Nut?

And if so, can you help me get it, install it, and configure it?

Thank you

This might help you get it: http://sotirov-bg.net/slackpack/pack.cgi?id=402

you are on your own with installing "nit" and configuring it.  You'll need to find a pre-compiled package for Slackware, or compile one of your own.    Most people using unRAID use apcupsd, which has the same network capability to broadcast the need to power down to other PCs on the LAN.  Most people install apcupsd through the unMENU package manager, but it only works on APC UPS and those using the same or similar signaling.  (Make it possible with just a few button clicks)

Has anyone had any luck with this? I would be grateful to get any info on a successful installation.
