RobotSir
Hi all. I am new to unraid. I was trying to upgrade my cache drive to a new one. After I started the array with the new cache drive, I noticed that I needed to backup the old cache drive first, so I stopped the array and selected the old cache drive. However, after started the array again, the old cache drive was unable to mount and shows "Unmountable: Volume not encrypted". I believe the old cache drive was originally formated as btrfs-encrypted. Is there still a way to mount the old cache drive, or the filesystem is already messed up and unreadable? Thanks for any help. Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
No btrfs filesystem detected on the old device, that suggests the device was wiped with wipefs, you can try this: btrfs-select-super -s 1 /dev/sdb1 Note: this won't work if the device was encrypted, if that was the case you'd first need to restore the LUKS headers, if you have a backup.
