December 5, 20223 yr Hi, Just some thoughts: Does anyone ever start thinking "I wonder, if users use function X of my plugin"? If yes, does anyone implemented some kind of statistic feature to your plugin? I would add an opt-in option which sends specific things to an external server for anonymous statistic purposes. Is such feature allowed?
December 5, 20223 yr Solution When something will be added or needed (For the purpose to detect failures / errors) Made it just as opt-in not as opt-out perse 🙂 If you decide to send statistics about every option within your plugin. This will maybe disliked a lot. Maybe include something for error reportings / script errors / permission errors. I would like to see the benefits when you just "overwatch" the function usage.

If you want to remove a functionality, it would be good to know if its still maybe used a lot in the field. But I think, leaving the user the FULL control about it (via opt-in and with explanations) is sufficient.
