Drive Read Errors/Disabled

To my untrained eye, the drive looks finished, keen to confirm next steps here,

I've got another HD of the same size to swap it out with.
Can i format/prepare the HD through the server like with adding any drive?

 

If there is a good guide/info you can point me to, i'd love to read more

SMART looks fine, looks like it just dropped:

Note that we don't recommend USB for array/pool devices, very prone to issues.

Looks like next step involve stopping the array, but i'm having a bit of trouble getting it to stop,

 

I've had a bit of a dig and installed the Stop Shell plugin,but didn't see to help,

 

Some sort of pre-shutdown update failing?

EDIT: had a look at the "Open Files" plugin and shutdown all the docker containers.

 

 

EDIT2: UI generally works, but "hard actions" like shutting down the array, or killing processes will the open files plugin will get the Bad Gateway response
