Idle Reading/Writing on 1 Drive + Parity Only

Featured Replies

Every time I shut off all my docker containers and VMS and while not accessing any data, the server continues to initiate a read/write at very small speeds (a couple dozen kb/s at most) every 3 seconds or so from disk 1 + parity (no reading on disk 2 at all). How can I find out what is causing these readings? My appdata, domains, and system shares are all solely in the cache drive.

If Docker and/or VM Manager is still enabled in Settings, docker.img and libvirt.img is still open. Doesn't matter if no containers or VMs are running.

The usual way to avoid this is to have appdata, domains, and especially system share with all their files on cache or other fast pool and none of their files on the parity array.

Attach diagnostics to your NEXT post in this thread if you want help with this.

Found this old response you gave back in 2018 and it solved the problem for me. Thanks!
