January 13, 20233 yr So I decided today was the day to move to Unraid. Recently I got a new 12TB drive for cheap that I was going to use as my parity drive, It works perfectly fine in my HDD caddy connecting to any computer with USB, passes all checks. But whenever I plug into my older PC (HP from 2014) the PC won't boot. Boots fine with the 2x10TB, 1x8TB, and 256 SSD (my Win10 setup) but it doesn't like this new drive. Right now I only have the 12TB and a 10TB to start building and then transfer. Anything else I can try? Think a PCI Sata expansion would work? Edited January 13, 20233 yr by JBake130 more details
