How to identify which /dev/sdX1 partition corresponds to the /dev/mdYp1 managed partition ?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

How can I identify, via command line, which /dev/sdX1 partition corresponds to the /dev/mdYp1 managed partition?

The info is on the WebGUI main page but I need to get that info in the context of a script.

Many thanks.

I am bumping up this because I need an answer to complete my LUKS header restore command/script. That would be useful for the community (not only me).

If you run blkid with the array started it show show the partition/filesystem IDs for all devices, same ID for an md and sd device is the same disk.
