Thousands of parity errors and very slow speed of parity check after mobo/cpu/ram/HBA controller swap

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone, i finally gave my unraid server some much needed upgrades

Mobo replaced, cpu replaced, ram and swapped out HSA card from a 8 to a 16

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core @ 3800 MHz
Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. PRO B550-VC (MS-7C56) , Version 3.0
LSI 9201-16i IT Mode HBA 8x PCIE 16 Lane SAS Card 6Gbps

The system booted after i recreated the flash drive and added the old config, but when ran a parity to ensure everything is good (no data was added to the array) it was crawling and generating lots of errors, no hardware errors on the drives though.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I thought it was the onboard Raid on the motherboard, but i am using the m.2 slot yet.

Start by running memtest, there's also filesystem corruption on disk7 but best to check RAM before trying to repair it.

I ran memtest overnight and it passed.
