Is that why they are on sale? If so, I'll jump on two of them ASAP - if that's unlikely, I can hold off a bit. John Given that my new motherboard has one x4 and one x8 slot and I want to get to 20 drives, it was easy. Buy one SASLP now on sale for the x4 slot, and buy the next card (SASLP or SAS2LP) when I expand. Remember that SAS2LP requires an x8 and SASLP requires x4. Quote Link to comment
