1971camaroguy
Been playing with Tdarr this past weekend and really liking it. My only issue is getting that "keep native audio and english" plugin to work lol. Doesn't work at the moment. But it's nice to be able to run it in a docker, and I have the node docker installed and running it all off my server at the moment. But on my quest for knowledge I stumbled on something similar called fileflows...and it has a way to remove all audio but native and / or english as well as a lot of other things tdarr doesn't appear to do. One cool thing is to be able to build "flows" by dragging and dropping so you can get a visual of what's going to happen. And you can build and save several flows depending on what you want to happen. Been watching the few youtube videos about it out there and the forum doesn't have a huge amount of activivity as I think it's a relativily new app. https://www.youtube.com/@fileflows204 Anyone else using it? I don't know a lot about it, but it took me a few days to get comfortable with tdarr, this one seems like it won't be too hard to figure out. I like that there is a docker for it and pretty easy to set up. Quote Link to comment
deadnote
Hi I changed from tdarr to fileflow 2 months ago : Fixcommonproblems displayed a warning about tdarr and the disk space used by tdarr was much larger than for fileflow. No problems to report with fileflow, easy to configure, nice interface, I love it ! Quote Link to comment
InReasonNotFish
I'm having a problem figuring out how to handle file renaming. I'm still testing and am principally focused on getting ffmpeg to work the way I want it. I'm reencoding x264 files into hevc and also dropping the resolution on 4k files. So, I have a library set up when I put the source file and I want FileFlows to do the encode and then put the new file, with a new name into the same folder as the original file. I'm working with a "file pattern replacer" node but I don't know what I need to put as my final node. Again, I don't want to replace the original file (I might need to reencode it as I tweak the ffmpeg settings). I want original to be untouched so I end up with: show.s01e01 - episode name (webdl.2160p.hdr.scenename-h265.eac35.1) show.s01e01 - episode name (4k.webdl.hdr.scenename-hevc.20m.ffm.ddp5.1) When I look in the log file the replacements seem to be working. I just seem to either a) loose the new file altogether, or b) have the original file overwritten. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm loving this docker. Quote Link to comment
