  1. I may be misunderstanding what this does, would it fix an issue when I browse the movie folder share on a windows machine it takes 1-2 seconds to load all the movie folders......it's not the end of the world, I just wanted it to be more instant when I open the movie folder to browse. When I open it I can see some of the folders, like G-P movie names and then the rest load up. I can see it counting, and the progress bar at the top is adding them Once it loads all the movie folders it's fine, but right at first I can only see a portion of them when makes me feel like some drives aren't spinning up quick enough? I'm not sure. I have 24 drives in a supermicro hot swap case Thanks in advance
  2. I just orderered a 3D printed fan wall brackets off of etsy and grabbed the wrong one. Seller had an 846 and 848 version and looked really similar and I was going back and forth looking at listings and thought I grabbed the right one. Got an 848 and needed an 846 so I am going to have to modify it. It's on it's way and I was preparing myself on what I have to do to modify it Thanks!
  3. Been playing with Tdarr this past weekend and really liking it. My only issue is getting that "keep native audio and english" plugin to work lol. Doesn't work at the moment. But it's nice to be able to run it in a docker, and I have the node docker installed and running it all off my server at the moment. But on my quest for knowledge I stumbled on something similar called fileflows...and it has a way to remove all audio but native and / or english as well as a lot of other things tdarr doesn't appear to do. One cool thing is to be able to build "flows" by dragging and dropping so you can get a visual of what's going to happen. And you can build and save several flows depending on what you want to happen. Been watching the few youtube videos about it out there and the forum doesn't have a huge amount of activivity as I think it's a relativily new app. https://www.youtube.com/@fileflows204 Anyone else using it? I don't know a lot about it, but it took me a few days to get comfortable with tdarr, this one seems like it won't be too hard to figure out. I like that there is a docker for it and pretty easy to set up.
  4. Been messing with tdarr all weekend to tweak my movies, remove non-english subtitles, and languages I don't need....clean some things up. Just discovered and started using it and seems to work great. But one issue, a lot of my rips have a native language, such as chinese with an english dub, I have some shawscope movies that way, and plenty others in itialian like giallio movies and korean horror. I don't want to remove those audio tracks if that's how they were filmed originally. I really want to keep the native language along with english dub if there is one. Tdarr has plugin for that, but it doesn't work now and throws an error everytime I try and run it, something is broke in the code. It's called something like "keep naitive lang and english" and uses api keys from TMDB and radarr to scan for the "original language" flags. There is another plugin that only keeps english, but if there if there is only just a non-english track it skips it. I had one movie it had a chinese track and a english commentary track, it removed the chinese track and kept the one with just two dudes talking in english the whole time about the movie. I had to do a remove commentary plugin before the remove everything but english to fix that. Found another app called file flow that will work in a docker and have read it can do something similar, but there isn't any documentation on that I can find that relates to this task. Any ideas or suggestions? I am up a creek and have to live with english dubs on everything if that was an option on the file? Thanks for any help or input anyone can provide? If I can sort this out I'll have this working like a charm and really clean up those files and save some space in the process.
  5. I have a question, I am not 100% familiar with scripting so someone on another group helped me out with this. It's supposed to look at the trailers folder and compare it to my movies folder for a movie match and if a trailer isn't in that movies folder, and there is a match in the Trailers folder, it will copy it over, otherwise ignore the movie folder and move on. He wrote it assuming the script would be sitting in the same share (Storage-1) as the trailer and movie folder sits in. But I think with this pugin the script is in it's own folder in /boot/config/plugins/user.scripts/scripts I was wondering if someone could help me put the direct paths in this script so I can get it working? Right now the paths of my share and the two folders are structured like this, with Storage-1 being the main share folder. Storage-1 / Trailers Storage-1 / Movies Thanks for the help! Much appriciated #!/usr/bin/bash for trailer in Trailers/*; do echo "Searching for movie for Trailer - '$trailer'" basename=$(basename "$trailer" .mkv) basename=${basename%-trailer} basename=${basename/%.[[:digit:]][[:digit:]][[:digit:]][[:digit:]]/} basename=${basename/% ([[:digit:]][[:digit:]][[:digit:]][[:digit:]])/} basename=${basename/[/\\[} basename=${basename/]/\\]} matches=`find Movies -iname "$basename"\*` if [[ -n "${matches}" ]]; then num=$(echo -n "${matches}" | grep -c '^') if [[ "$num" == "1" ]]; then echo "--> Found match for trailer ${matches}" echo mv "$trailer" "${matches}" else echo "Multiple matches for trailer: ${trailer}" echo "${matches}" fi #else # echo "--> No match found for trailer ${matches}" fi done
  6. Hey Everyone I know about radarr, but I was wanting to rename movies and download trailers for an exisiing movie folder on my unraid server. Anyone know of a docker container than can do this? I was wanting to rename all of my files, trailers and download new trailers to a specific naming scheme. Really nothing past that, maybe some sort of media organizer, radarr won't let me name my folders the way I want it. Thanks a bunch
  7. I also added the noctua fans and a couple of supermicro quiet power supplies...huge difference. Especially the power supply fans, so I highly suggest getting a pair of those if anything.
  8. It's a ASUS WS C246 PRO LGA1151 Server Workstation Motherboard and a Intel i7 9700K Processor. 64GB Ram. I will say I have had this running for a while now..since thanksgiving and it hasn't missed a beat. I did stop it a few weeks back to add another drive to the pool. I really like this set-up with unraid.
  9. Since nobody answered, I figured it out on the web......going with 5 x Noctua 80mm fans Thanks
  10. Also grabbed a Asus C236 WS motherboard to use with my 9th gen i7 processor...noticed the board has an onboard female usb 9 connector that I can plug a flash drive into...so that's nice
  11. I contacted the site and supermicro replenished the stock, I can get three of those now Anyone have a solution for the rear exhaust fans? The rep said he didn't have anything to replace mine with
  12. It's the 24 bay hot swap chassis that they sell Any suggestions on replacement fans to quiet it down? If I am not mistaken the direct replacement fan is a 80x25mm Hot Swap but they are out of stock https://store.supermicro.com/80mm-fan-0104l4.html I See Noctua has a 80x25mm fan, which is cheaper than the supermicro, has anyone took one of these and modified the stock hot swap holder that the supermicro fan is in and installed these? https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-A8-PWM-Premium-Quiet/dp/B00NEMG62M/ref=dp_prsubs_1?pd_rd_i=B00NEMG62M&psc=1 One last thing is the hot swap power supplies, I know supermicro makes a quiet version, but has anyone swapped the internal fans to quiet it down? I figure not, but wanted to check. These are pretty expensive on thier own, if in stock. https://store.supermicro.com/920w-1u-pws-920p-sq.html?queryID=fbfd488eeb0e26953952c00785a1400c&objectID=652&indexName=supermicro_default_products
