April 17, 20233 yr Shutdown my server because I had to do some rearranging in my room and after turning it back on, suddenly my Disk 4 is unmountable. The status indicates "Unmountable: Wrong or no file system". When I view Disk 4 in maintenance mode, it states "xfs_repair status: Not available". I'm not sure what to do from here as I do not want to lose my data. If anyone has any advice, please let me know! Diagnostics attached. node-diagnostics-20230416-2233.zip
April 17, 20233 yr Author Sorry I should have included that. The filesystem is xfs. Checking the Fileystem Status, I get this output "Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... would write modified primary superblock Primary superblock would have been modified. Cannot proceed further in no_modify mode. Exiting now.". It seems as if xfs_repair is not available, as it stated before the check.
April 17, 20233 yr Author I reran it without -n, I will attach the output. It states at the end "Please reset with mount -o sunit=,swidth= if necessary". Where would I do this? xfs_repair.txt
April 17, 20233 yr Community Expert Solution Now start the array in normal mode and the disk should mount again.
April 17, 20233 yr Author Thank you. It was just that easy eh? Didn't want to proceed and mess anything up. Much appreciated.
