mayberts
Hello you beautiful people, I'm here to see if any of you have any insight or wisdom that will help me. I have a QNAP ts-1635ax NAS and I would like to install unraid. This unit does not have a HDMI port to I can't connect it to a monitor and get to the BOIS, but according to this I can get to the BIOS using the console interface. I have the console cable connected and I can see the BIOS name and date when it boots up, but I am unable to press ctrl+f1 to change the BIOS as the keyboard isn't active to initial boot. I guess my main questions are Can I get to the BIOS? Can I "activate" the keyboard at boot? Will unraid work on this device? Thanks mayberts Quote Link to comment
Solution itimpi Posted April 29, 2023 Solution Share Posted April 29, 2023 That QNAP device will not be capable of running Unraid as it has an ARM based processor, while Unraid requires a x86 based one. 1 Quote Link to comment
