May 3, 20233 yr Hello, I am running unraid for a few year and has working community plugin. However, one day, when i login to check my server, i realised that it as me to install "community plugin" again. ( as shown below ) and upon pressing "install" , i receive another error " generic error" May i know what is wrong with my server? May 3, 20233 yr Community Expert Solution The syslog in those diagnostics show problems with the flash drive. I would suggest you put it in a PC/Mac to check it can be read correctly. It may be failing, so do you have a. backup taken since you last made any configuration changes?
May 3, 20233 yr Author @itimpii have checked my usb, it is indeed failing. Now i have move to a new USB. However, i am still waiting for email with regards to url for "install key". May i know if this email is automatic or do i have to wait for a few hours before receiving the email? and i have blacklisted my old usb, so i guess there is no returning back while i wait for the email. 😟

If you went via the automated licence transfer process you should get it within seconds. Carefully check that it has not ended up in Spam.
May 3, 20233 yr Author I have checked that it is not in spam. I have emailed unraid support contact and it say the waiting is around 1 day for their response. Is there anything else i can do to get my install key url while waiting for support to reply?
May 3, 20233 yr Author i just found a solution to my problem. I went to "Unraid Connect" and the url of the key can be found there. 😀
March 19, 20242 yr I am having this same issue, cant download and get a generic issue. @itimpi, how do I know if my USB is failing from the diagnostics? I do have a backup from 3 days ago. It looks like that is when the CA backup stopped working. I replied to another thread but then found this one. March 20, 20242 yr I think i fixed it but there are still weird errors. A new flash drive took care of most.
