Hi with all disks spun down what should I be looking for in power draw, currently showing 45w on mine ?

It's a 65w cpu. What you should expect to see is completely dependent on what is running (which is not just the drives).

thanks its just i went from an A10 6700 that showed 45w at idle with no dockers running and all disks spun down and i thought this new processor would be more energy efficient

You should try certain settings tweaking to achieve max power efficiency at idle.
