June 18, 20233 yr Hello, I'm currently having an issue where I can't add anew share. When I click "add shrare" it opens a blank tab with my ip/update.htm I'm unsure of what to do. As well I'm als not able to add different users to access the share. I'm unsure if these two issues are related Thank you for any and all help
June 19, 20233 yr Community Expert Solution Try rebooting in safe mode to rule out plugin issues, if the same post the diagnostics after an attempt.
June 19, 20233 yr Author So that worked. I'm also able to give a user permissions to the folder. I still can't access is, but I think that's a different kind of user error on my part. So what should I be doing now so that I can run this in just the normal mode? Thank you so far

You can try and find the plugin that is causing issues.

I have given a user read/write access to a test folder. When in a file explore page I choose my server from the tab, then asked to enter credentials. Then I'm told I might not have permission, and that "the parameter is incorrect" 19 minutes ago, JorgeB said: You can try and find the plugin that is causing issues. It seems like starting the server back up in normal is now working, so yay!

I am currently configuring my first ever server and using unraid for the first time. My setup is an old server rack mount server with 2 1tb samsung SSDs. So i configured my array with 1 parity disk and 1 data disk. I noticed that in the main tab my data disk had this message under the size column: UNMOUNTABLE: UNSUPPORTED PARTITION LAYOUT. I formated the disk with unraid (under Array Operation) and it solved my issue. I was then able to create a share normally! Hope this helps.

November 15, 20241 yr what a nightmare for me.... did a fresh install had to reformat drives for the 3th time now. ding the parity from ground up. Still cant figure out what is going on, 1/2 the time i was able to share and 1/2 not able to, why is this even an issue?! It is because i upgraded MOBO with a nvme, and have unassigned disks. I guess ill reformat the whole array for the 4th time, while on this trial period. Nothing is straightforward and easy to use. I am not a windows user been on Linux since 2007. Maybe that is my problem I need to get used to nuking the system. Now after nuking the array again and getting it to share. my docker wont start the same location i have used for the nvme is not longer valid. and wont show up because of sharing an array that has nothing to do with it. wow just more nuking to do all my dockers going poof.
