[HELP] Looking for a good photos app with ability to sort images

Featured Replies

I've seen a few on youtube/CA plugin store, but i haven't found a photos app that does what i want it to do.

I'm looking for one that kind of works like apple photos. Where you can put albums into albums. For example create an album called "holidays" and inside I create multiple albums, one for each holiday I went on. I've been looking into nextcloud, it looks cool but it lacks this feature, like many other photo apps.

Does anyone know of a photo app that works like this and which i can selfhost? Otherwise it'll have to be stored in a normal file directory like way and not bother with a photos app where I can browse my photos kind of like a folder structure tree.

Well, it follows your folder structure - so you can organize it as you want.

For example it could be like this:

= Holidays

=== Holidays in Spain

===== 2023 (photos in this folder)

===== 2022 (photos in this folder)

=== Holidays in Italy (photos in this folder)

= House Renovation

=== New Pool (photos in this folder)

So anything is possible if you organize it by folders 😋
