Ethan McDonnell
Hi all, Just wondering if it is safe to re-enable this drive with these S.M.A.R.T stats, mainly the reallocated sector count, or whether I should just replace the drive. I've attached the S.M.A.R.T report and server diagnostics file but it's from after a reboot so it may not be of much help. Thanks in advance. Solution itimpi Posted August 14, 2023 Solution Share Posted August 14, 2023 In theory it is safe to use a disk with reallocated sectors as long as the value is stable and not increasing. Having said that there are more on that disk than I would be happy with. Quote Link to comment
Ethan McDonnell
Ah thank you, it's been increasing over the past few weeks, guess it's time for a drive replacement. 😪 Quote Link to comment
