August 29, 20232 yr Hey guys! I left unRAID a while back to play with some other systems, I have came back as of 6.12.1 and thought I had properly set things up, however it seems that even though I have my main share set to 30% minimum free space, it is still filling all of my drives to full. I will attach some screenshots. Anyone able to give me a hand to point out what I've done wrong and what I need/can do to fix my issue?
August 29, 20232 yr Community Expert See here: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/shares/user-shares/#minimum-free-space Notice the warning on 'Split Level'. This is where most people run into problems as Split Level setting takes precedence over Min Free Space! (In my opinion, there are very few instances where a split level setting makes any sense at all as HD capacity is usually thousands of times larger than the max file size! The odds that two files that have to be on the same disk end up on different disks is virtually zero.)
