DOCKER "update ready" should include current/new version

I don't know how complicated this is to implement, but a version tag of installed and new would have been very helpful.

You're thinking that the version of the container is related to the version of the app contained within.  There's no direct correlation, and no way for the system to determine it.

To follow up on @Squidanswer, in your example everything would be tagged as "latest" if it's fetched from the docker repo.

 

unless you set a tag manually but thats already displayed if you do it.
