September 14, 20232 yr Title says it all. My system had been running great for a couple of months when I finally decided it was time to upgrade. After rebooting 4 out of my 16 disks are missing, My server is in a very difficult place to get to so I am hoping this isn't a hardware issue that requires me to pull the box out and work on it. I have rebooted a half dozen times with the same result. Any ideas? Logs attached. tower-syslog-20230914-2209.zip

September 15, 20232 yr Community Expert Do you have any previous diags form when it was working? Just to see what controller the missing disks are using.
September 15, 20232 yr Author I just searched and I do not. I guess I am going to crack the case open and see what is going on. It is just odd to me that everything was working fine until the upgrade.
September 15, 20232 yr Community Expert You can also downgrade and post new diags, assuming the disks come back online, if they don't it's a different issue.
October 23, 20232 yr Author So I still haven't been able to figure out what is causing this but here is a new wrinkle. If I shutdown and restart all of the disks show up. Anytime I just restart they are missing. Any ideas?
October 23, 20232 yr Community Expert Looks like a hardware issue, possibly a BIOS issue, look for an update.
