thanks  :)

i changed Tesserat and pyload .conf

now Tesserat its ok instaled but pyload shows the following:

pyload-src-v0.4.9.zip installation:

Required dependency, tesseract-3.00-i486-1sl.txz, has not been installed. Please install it before installing pyLoad.

You can install the package Here

pyload-src-v0.4.9.zip apparently did not install properly, /etc/rc.d/unraid.d/rc.unraid_pyload does not exist.

see my first post for some information I need to help any further.

That is not nearly enough info.  I asked for some in the first post of this thread and if you can provide it that would be great.

ended up having a play around and got it working.

however i am having a very annoying permissions issue. i saw a post somewhere about it however i couldnt find a fix???

i download all my files through pyload to a share "downloads"

however i cant delete the files. i can rename the folders but i cant do anything but read and execute the files.

HELP???

It has been a while since i looked at pyLoad but i think there is a permissions for downloads setting somewhere within the preferences.

I had a play through these settings but cant seem to get them right. i have tried setting it to 777 and that prevented all access to my server.. i had to run the new permissions script. :\

I need the output of all the things i asked for in the first post where it says:

"If you need help please post the results of the commands below:"

/mnt/downloads is most likely NOT a real directory.

It is likely being created by my script but /mnt/downlods is NOT a standard disk and it is likely in RAM.

/mnt/user/downloads would likely be more correct, or /mnt/disk1/downloads.

yeah that was actually a miss type by me. it is actually downloading to /mnt/user/downloads

thats where the files are appearing. but i just dont have permissions to delete them.

here you are :)

Thanks for all your help.

1. What are the share settings on the downloads share (public/secure/private/etc)?

2. What user are you using to connect to the server (root/user_you_created)?

3. Have you downloaded anything since running the new perms script?

it is a private share.

i am connecting with an account i created called admin

yes i have with no luck :(

Any thoughts?
