May 24, 201214 yr I had a play through these settings but cant seem to get them right. i have tried setting it to 777 and that prevented all access to my server.. i had to run the new permissions script. :\
May 24, 201214 yr Author I need the output of all the things i asked for in the first post where it says: "If you need help please post the results of the commands below:"
May 24, 201214 yr Author /mnt/downloads is most likely NOT a real directory. It is likely being created by my script but /mnt/downlods is NOT a standard disk and it is likely in RAM. /mnt/user/downloads would likely be more correct, or /mnt/disk1/downloads.
May 24, 201214 yr yeah that was actually a miss type by me. it is actually downloading to /mnt/user/downloads thats where the files are appearing. but i just dont have permissions to delete them. screen shot included
