ChatNoir Posted October 26, 2023 Share Posted October 26, 2023 Hi @blue8lucian, you should start here : Note that Expanders are not controllers and are only working similarly as a network switch. You would need to connect it to a SAS controler. As for the SATA card, it's hard to judge without a link, but more than 4 SATA connectors on a single PCIe lane generally means one or several port multiplers and that is not recommended.
