outright1660
Greetings, Wanted some feedback and a sanity check on my setup. I'm currently running 1 x 2tb NVME as data storage (Disk 1 under Array Devices) and 1x 512GB SSD as cache in my Pool Devices. I'm going to be adding 4x 12TB HDDs. My thought was to use ... 2TB NVME as a data drive for appdata/docker and VMs. No parity needed, it's already on a good backup solution. 512GB SSD as cache. 4x 12TB HDDs for data and media storage. Using three drives for storage and one as parity. Any advice on how I should be setting this up? Is it possible to set this up without nuking the data on my existing 2TB NVME? My basic understanding is that I would probably have to set this up so my 512gb SSD is a cache drive, my 2tb NVME is a seperate cache pool device, and then my 4 HDDs become the array devices.
