November 15, 20232 yr I have made the following error: I used Krusader to move several shares, each of which was spread across 3 different hard drives in the array, to a single new hard drive. After the move, the data from the shares was automatically removed from the 3 hard drives by Krusader. However, I then made a mistake with the new hard drive where the shares with the data were now stored. I had stupidly used this as a parity disc. After about 5% runtime I interrupted the creation of the parity disc. My question now is: Can I restore the data from the 3 hard drives where the shares were previously stored? Nothing was changed on the 3 hard drives afterwards. I would be very grateful for any help.
November 15, 20232 yr Community Expert You can try this: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/101686-xfs_undelete-seems-to-be-a-better-way-to-recover-files/?do=getNewComment Failing that use a file recovery util, like UFS explorer.
November 15, 20232 yr Author Hallo @JorgeB. Thanks for your comment. Firstly, I will probably test the UFS Explorer Standard Recovery. Because the command line mode is relatively new to me. I don't want to cause more damage there.
