CPU error

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've been running unraid pro for a few months now to host an emby server. I am using my 3070ti to do the transcoding. The cpu is currently redlining and im getting this error in the log files.

Tower Kernel: CPU: 14 PID: 16699 Comm: cifsd Tainted: P         O          6.1.49-unraid 1

To my knowledge, nothing has changed in configuration...

I am totally new to unraid, but fully capable with computers...

Thanks in advance.

Spec is a Ryzen 2700x

rtx 3070ti

i think a 2tb standard hdd

I cant find where i can download log files from to quick paste (sorry but as stated, i can learn quick..)

Just a bit of further information, all my media is stored on seperate NAS devices mounted to my unraid via SMB. I dont use the filestructure on unraid for anything other than neccersary system files i guess and docker files

Take a look here, Ryzen with overclocked RAM like you have is known to have stability and data corruption issues.

Hi fellas,

Right, ive put the ram to the suggested speed and changed the idle setting...

Will update in due course.

What is the best CPU to use for unraid? Am i now best to change over to something else?
