chaosclarity
I have an unraid server that was stable on (I think 6.10.x?) prior and after ugprading to 6.12.4 I can't keep it up for more than maybe 5-7 days give or take. It's completely unresponsive, no ping, no ssh access. Looking for some insight before I decide to roll it back to the previous version. I've attached my diagnostic logs for review if that helps. Thanks! jupiter-diagnostics-20231128-0753.zip Quote Link to comment
Solution itimpi Posted November 28, 2023 Solution Share Posted November 28, 2023 The logs in the diagnostics start over every time the system is booted. You would need to enable the syslog server to get a syslog that survives a reboot so we can see what lead up to the crash. The commonest cause of instability seems to be using macvlan with docker so it might be worth checking for that. The easiest solution is to switch to using ipvlan instead. Quote Link to comment

But I thought this issue was resolved? I will check it. Quote Link to comment

It IS possible to use macvlan with the 6.12.4 release, but you have to make sure you have satisfied the other requirements mentioned in the release notes if you want to do so. Quote Link to comment
