krazykanuck
i'm trying to replace my 3tb disk with a 2tb M.2 drive. No VM's. No Dockers. Folder caching disabled. All folders set to write to array. The cache drive is currently empty. i cannot remove the 3tb drive i get Wrong pool state cache - too many missing devices I thought this would be a simple swap. itimpi
You should post your system's diagnostics zip file in your next post in this thread to get more informed feedback. It is always a good idea to post this if your question might involve us seeing how you have things set up or to look at recent logs. Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted December 3, 2023 Solution Share Posted December 3, 2023 You cannot directly replace a single device pool, if it's empty you can unassign it, start array, stop array, assign new device. Quote Link to comment
krazykanuck
Thanks Jorge. Could have swore I did that but tried one more time. I have now managed to replace the cache drive. 1 Quote Link to comment
