December 9, 20232 yr Hi guys, I am struggling to connect to the internet with my unraid server. I am using direct connection from my desktop to the server and an additional connection to the router. I see that there is an ip assigned to the server, it is pingable and I can connect to it without a problem from within my network. My desktop which is in the same network has no problem of connection to the internet at all, but I am not able to connect with the server. I am able to ping the router, but I cannot ping e.g. 8.8.8.8. I did already resert my router, but this did not result in anything different.

December 9, 20232 yr Author I did a direct connection from my desktop to the server to use a dedicated 10 Gbit connection since the rest of the network does not allow this speed. Edited December 9, 20232 yr by Daskylos
December 10, 20232 yr Community Expert there are several articles here that show how to bridge 10G and 1G cards on UNRAID to supply 10G to a PC. Search and follow.
December 10, 20232 yr Author Solution I have been able to resolve this issue by actively setting the metric for the different connections. Thanks for your answers.
