December 12, 20232 yr I rebuilt my server and now most is all up and working. I want to move my cache drive which is a SATA SSD to a M.2 drive on my motherboard freeing up a SATA port for storage. I'm following Space Invaders video on how to do this but it's not working. He indicates to create a share called backup and there my problem starts. I can no longer create a share. I go through all the steps and select primary array and not cache drive for my share. I click Add Share and the screen flashes as if it's creating it but when I go back to shares it's not there. I tried rebooting but same problem. I'm on 6.12.6 and attached is my diagnostics file.... tower-diagnostics-20231211-2229.zip

Keep in mind that by default Unraid sets a 10% share floor, if the primary storage has not enough space for that you need to manually set a lower floor when creating the share.
December 12, 20232 yr Author I'm tryiing to create it on my array. I have 826GB free on it https://photos.app.goo.gl/KtYJ2M5HZ9defUaz8 Edited December 12, 20232 yr by DigitalDivide
December 12, 20232 yr Community Expert Solution Share floor refers to each individual disk's minimum free space, not the array total.
December 12, 20232 yr Author Not really sure what to put there...this is what my drives show https://photos.app.goo.gl/ayVwtcf9LgVZ4VX36
December 12, 20232 yr Author Ok well I created the share but now I can't seem to get my backup working. I created the backup share on my array, when I go to backup/restore and select my appdata and select destination for the backup folder. I can't click to apply it. Geez every step seems to not work for something that seems to easy in the video.... https://photos.app.goo.gl/T2qWJuN2mNz7Z17b6
