HELP! My unraid server is missing its license file

Featured Replies

My unraid server had previously hung and i rebooted it. Then once i rebooted it, i connected a monitor to see if the server was up all the time. Then I connected a keyboard. Then when i went in the gui, it was saying license file is corrupted or missing. I previously had a license for Unraid basic and now it saying it can no longer find the license. How can i fix this?SCR-20240222-eraz.thumb.png.1a518a3e794c08928f411b83eb89589a.png

If you still have the email with the key URL you should be able to use it again, or restore the key from a flash drive backup, if you don't have neither, contact support and they can resend it to you.

You need to check your flash drive is OK - best done by plugging it into a PC/Mac and running chkdsk on it.    As mentioned in the message the licence fiie should be in the config folder on the flash drive.   The message implies that either the flash drive dropped offline for some reason, or that it might have corruption.
