CACHE: UNMOUNTABLE: UNSUPPORTED OR NO FILE SYSTEM - NVMe defect?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I have a problem:
Suddenly, my apps could no longer be started. When troubleshooting, I discovered that my cache could no longer be mounted. I was able to mount it read only and copy the data down. The subsequent formatting was unsuccessful.

I assume that it is defective, right?
Can I simply replace it and then copy the data back?

Many thanks in advance

Correct:

=== START OF SMART DATA SECTION ===
SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: FAILED!
- available spare has fallen below threshold
- media has been placed in read only mode

ok, then replace.
Where do I have to copy the backed up data to? Is there anything to consider?

/mnt/cache/appdata
/mnt/user/appdata
/mnt/user0/appdata
/mnt/disk1/appdata

Copy back to the pool once you have a new device.

sorry, maybe I'm just being too stupid, I don't understand it yet. I have copied the contents of /mnt/cache to another disk. Do I now simply have to copy the contents of the other disk back to /mnt/cache and start my Docker again?

Yes once you have made the new drive be the 'cache' pool (the /mnt/cache drive).
