SeaSlash23
I'm looking to optimize my cache pool. I currently have a 500GB NVME drive that handles everything. I would like to change it so that the existing cache drive will only handle a single Windows VM, Docker Containers and Appdata, plex meta data and system files and my new 2TB NVME will handle downloads and write it to my Array as needed. Is this the most optimal way to do this? Can this be done with an existing Unraid server or do you need to format everything? Thanks in advance for your help. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
You can have multiple pools and configure what each pool is going to be used for by configuring User Shares (for caching), Docker and VM Manager appropriately. Quote Link to comment

Thanks. Just to confirm, can I do this if I have exsisiting VM's and docker containers? Quote Link to comment
